Bathe in the vibrations of healing instruments, whilst lying in the beautiful barn, surrounded by the 300 acres of nature and farmland that is Woodoaks Farm.

The Black Barn is a beautiful venue with a high vaulted ceiling, doors that open on to fields and is a growing hub of the local community.

Sound bath meditation is an ancient practice designed to bring about a deep state of relaxation and meditation. A variety of instruments are used, creating a landscape of sound that washes over and around you.

The vibrations of the instruments encourage relaxation and help to quieten a busy mind, the frequencies and vibrations permeate every cell of your body, creating a deep sense of relaxation and calm .

This is a time to relax, reflect, reconnect and replenish. You will enter a world of vibration, frequency, sensation and experience. The results are waves of peace, heightened awareness, and relaxation of the mind, body and spirit.

Cautions before receiving Sound Healing / Sound Meditation:

  • Pregnancy - It is advised to be cautious, especially during the first 12 weeks. inform the facilitator so that instruments are kept at a suitable distance from the body.

  • Sound-induced epilepsy - please consult your doctor before attending.

  • Serious mental health issues - please consult your doctor before attending.

  • Implanted heart pacemaker, stent or shunt - inform the facilitator so that instruments are kept at a suitable distance from the body.

  • Metal implants - inform the facilitator so that instruments are kept at a suitable distance from the body.

  • Tinnitus and Meniere’s - some people find that Sound aggravates these conditions, others find relief.

Please let us know of any other health concerns we need to know about. In addition, It is advisable not to have a heavy meal or alcohol beforehand.

*What to bring with you*

A yoga mat if you have one

A pillow and blanket and anything else that will make you comfortable (bring warm layers, sleeping-bag, extra blankets etc in the winter months)

About Woodoaks Farm and how to get there

Woodoaks Farm lies just to the west of London at Maple Cross in Hertfordshire. It extends to just over 300 acres and includes arable and pastureland and around 75 acres of semi-natural woodland.

The farm has been in the Findlay Family since the 1920’s and in 2020 Sally Findlay donated Woodoaks to the Soil Association Land Trust to ensure it will be farmed sustainably into the future; producing good food, improving wildlife and continuing to welcome people.
